A New Summer Starts Here at Sessions Outdoor Sports

If you’ve stopped by the new Sessions location recently, you’ve probably noticed something exciting happening. The shop is starting to come alive!

Since the move, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes getting everything dialed in. From organizing the layout and unpacking orders to filling shelves and building displays, it’s been a full team effort to create a space that feels welcoming, functional, and ready for summer in Osoyoos.

And now, it’s all starting to come together.

Building a Space That Feels Like Sessions

This move was about creating a space that better supports the direction Sessions is growing in and the outdoor community we’re proud to be part of here in Osoyoos and the South Okanagan.

As the business continues to evolve, our goal remains the same, to make sure the shop feels approachable, and is built around the experiences our customers come here for most. A space that works better for our team, better for our customers, and better for the busy summer season that brings this town to life.

From the second you walk in, we want the shop to feel like Sessions. Same crew. Same service.

What You’ll Find in the Shop This Summer

As the shelves continue filling up, you’re starting to see the vision come together.

We’ve got bikes in stock and ready to ride, clothing arriving for men, women, and youth, trail essentials and multi-tools for summer adventures, fishing gear and dry goods, kids helmets and safety gear, and hockey equipment and skate sharpening available in The Badger’s Den.

Every part of the shop has been built with the Osoyoos lifestyle in mind.

Because summer here is about doing a little bit of everything.

One day might be spent out on the trails, the next at the lake, and the next heading out before sunrise for a fishing trip. Life here moves between seasons and activities quickly, and we have the products and gear in store to support that.

Rental Bikes and Exploring Osoyoos

One of the things we’re most excited about this season is continuing to grow our rental bike program. Not everyone travels with their bike, and not everyone owns one. But that shouldn’t stop people from experiencing everything Osoyoos has to offer.

Whether you’re looking for a casual cruise along the lake, a scenic e-bike ride through the South Okanagan, or a more adventurous day exploring local trails, rentals are one of the best ways to experience the area differently. Check out our rental selection here.

There’s something about seeing Osoyoos on two wheels that slows everything down in the best way. You end up finding the spots you would’ve driven right past otherwise.

For visitors, bike rentals offer a chance to experience the valley beyond the beach and wineries. For locals, they’re a fun way to try something new, get friends and family outside, or spend more time enjoying the trails and pathways we have right here in our backyard.

And honestly, summer in Osoyoos was made for it!

What to do in Osoyoos in the Summer

There’s a reason people keep coming back here year after year.

Summer in Osoyoos has a different kind of energy. Long hot days. Warm lake water. Early morning rides before the desert heat settles in. Patio dinners after a full day outside. Kids riding bikes until sunset. Spontaneous plans that somehow turn into the best memories of the season.

The South Okanagan has quietly become one of British Columbia’s most unique outdoor destinations, and every summer more people are discovering that.

Visitors are looking for active experiences instead of just sightseeing. Locals are spending more time outdoors than ever. Trails are busier, lake days are longer, and there’s a growing appreciation for the lifestyle this area offers.

That’s what makes being part of this community so exciting right now.

A Shop Built Around Community

One of the best parts of a local outdoor shop has never been just the products.

It’s the conversations.

Trail recommendations. Fishing reports. Helping someone find the right bike. Talking about weekend plans at the counter. Watching families come back year after year as part of their summer traditions.

That sense of community matters to us.

Our team has been  working behind the scenes to organize the shop and get everything ready, to helping customers gear up for their next adventure, this entire process has been a team effort built around creating a better experience for the people who walk through our doors.

And we’re only getting started.

Ready for Summer

As summer ramps up across Osoyoos and the South Okanagan, we’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and first-time visitors into the new space.

Whether you’re gearing up for trail season, planning lake days, shopping for the family, or just stopping in to see what’s new, we’re excited to be part of your summer.

The shop is coming together, the bikes are ready to ride, and another Osoyoos summer is officially here.
