Bike Tune-Ups & Flat Tire Repair in Osoyoos
Before getting too far into the season, it’s worth making sure your bike is ready to ride.
After sitting through the winter, things like brakes, shifting, and tire pressure usually need a bit of attention. A quick tune-up early on can prevent bigger issues later, especially once you start riding more regularly.
Flat tires are so common is Osoyoos, especially with puncture vine and dry trail conditions. If you’ve dealt with repeat flats, there are a few options to reduce the chances of it happening again, whether that’s new tires, the added protection of tanus armour, or a tubeless setup.
If you’re not sure what your bike needs, stop by the shop and we’ll take a look and help you figure out a plan that makes sense for how you ride.
Pickleball: Courts, Gear & How to Get Started
Pickleball continues to grow (for good reason!) , and spring is when the courts start getting busy again.
It’s an easy sport to get into, whether you’re playing casually or getting more competitive. The learning curve is manageable, and it’s a good way to stay active without needing a full day or a high level of fitness.
There are a few solid places to play locally:
● West Bench Complex
● Sonora Community Centre
● Desert Park Complex
If you’re just getting started or looking to upgrade your gear, we carry paddles, balls, and accessories in-store. We can also help you find something that fits your level so you’re not overbuying or underprepared.
Fishing Gear You Need This Spring
As the weather warms up, fishing season starts to pick up across the South Okanagan.
Having the right setup makes the difference. At Sessions, we carry a range of fishing gear suited for local conditions, from essentials to replacements for anything that didn’t make it through last season. If you’re unsure what’s working right now, we’re always happy to point you in the right direction, and share a local spot or two.
Camping Gear for Spring in the South Okanagan
Spring is a good time to ease back into camping.
The weather is more comfortable, sites are quieter than peak summer, and even a short overnight trip can feel like a reset. It’s also the best time to sort out your gear before the busy season starts.
Whether you’re building out a setup or replacing older equipment, having reliable gear makes a big difference once you’re out there. We carry a range of camping essentials, including the small items people tend to forget until they need them. If you’re planning ahead for summer, getting organized now will save you time later.
Locally Owned & Community Driven
One of the advantages of shopping local is getting advice that actually applies to where you are.
Everything we carry is selected with Osoyoos and the South Okanagan in mind. When you come into the shop, you’re talking to people who use this gear in the same environment.
You’ll feel the difference as soon as you walk through the doors. We’re happy to share any advice to make sure you have a better experience outdoors.
We’ve recently moved into a more central location in Osoyoos and have been getting settled in for the season ahead. It’s been great connecting with both familiar faces and new people in the community.
As things ramp up, we’re also bringing back our Saturday rides from April through September 2026. These weekly rides meet at 8am at the Rifle Range on Creek Road and are led by Regan Pain of Pain Boys Racing. They’re open to all levels and are a great way to explore new routes, meet other riders, and stay consistent throughout the season.
Hope to see you soon!
